It’s a sleepy first day.
Not much is coming of it so here is my quick analysis of the players. It isn't much since there's such limited content. We really need to remedy that soon.
Cygnus- Dead. Cold. Alone. And no doubt missing me terribly. ray- Answered my question and bothered Sitro a bit about his vote towards me. Seems kosher. friedbananazzzz- A quick suspect list based on some gut feelings and some dialogue about the forum tags being a problem. Not really setting off my mafia radar like he usually does. I’m betting he’s finally a townie this game. serdash- Not posted yet. water_moon- 5 posts of varying degrees of helpfulness. Her first post on the subject of mafia neglecting NK’s is odd but not out of character. jrlafrance- 4 posts of one liners and non-content material. Also seemingly in character when compared to the last round. nolecub- Answers my question immediately and makes some follow-up posts in the thread that aren’t terrible. nazdakka- Not posted yet. noodle- A bandwagon with Sitro for me and a quick unvote shortly thereafter. Probably the oddest behavior so far, but again, not completely out of character. Jason- One post. Answers my question, but I disagree with his conclusion (but it’s an opinion so he may be correct). Possibly a connection with nolecub. Just a feeling. sitro- True to his word and voted me the first day. The man is golden. aman- Jumps into the thread late in the second day and votes for someone who isn’t even playing. He is corrected by no one. The mafia are smarter than that and would know who was playing, therefore, the man is golden. muzzz- Not posted yet. colorlessgreen- Nothing too out of the ordinary. I agree with his probability choices bobthewarrior- A pretty solid post thus far. I’m betting townie.
Since nothing is standing out as obviously mafia, I’m sending a vote towards one of the inactives. Naz can keep it until he posts something I want to read. Vote: Nazdakka

Hey Liquid... *Waves*
Re: What happened.. Bad guy screw up, both sides hate Cygnus, or cellar. Bad guy screw up is always a possibility, both anti-town groups targetting Cygnus is unlikely but not impossible as stated above, and as for cellar... it's possible, but I'm not convinced. Why? Night one isn't the obvious time to use the cellar ability - from a selfish perspective it makes sure you aren't going to be eliminated before you get to talk, but in this game dying night one isn't so bad because ghosts can talk at night. The best strategic use for it would seem to involve saving it for a while - you want to maximise the chances of it actually stopping an NK, which is what the town really wants to happen.
@w_M: Right, but night one? Surely if you're a bad guy you hold that ability for sometime that it might do something better than randomly shutting someone up for the traditional day one randomness?

@naz, only lynches get ghostified. NKs don't become restless dead, oddly enough...
Still missing word from Dashy and the Man Who Messes with RNGs.

Dang it, I forgot my point: I asked my question for a reason, and yet everyone seems to have ignored it. The witch can revive anyone, and they'll need to do thier job soon because they show as evil to the cop, so can any one think of a reason why Cgynus might have a reason to stay active at night?

@w_M: Duh. Good point. Hiding night one simply to ensure that you get to play makes more sense, then.

Hmmm...w_m, you lost me there.
Why would the witch want to revive someone soon? Did you partner bite it night one?
And why would you silence someone night/day 1? At that point, you truly are shooting in the dark. That ability would best be used if they can figure out who the cop is to stop them from leading a lynch.
Vote: water_moon (hopefully that is how you bold.)
Still waiting on dash and muzzz to contribute something. The later these two wait, the higher they rise on my list. Which is at this point:
water_moon: Throwing out too many crazy scenarios. jrlafrance: Again, another post with no content...trying to say he is damned if he does, damned if he don't. dash/muzzz: Inactives do not help the town.

Why would the witch want to revive someone soon? Did you partner bite it night one? Cygnus is dead. His body is in human form. If he's my partner then by definition I'm a townie. Yet you vote for me. We have a failure to pay attention, or a REALLY poor job of consealing bad guy status. Now, for those of you didn't read the rules: First off they can't save themself. Second off, the witch shows as a bad guy, as soon as the orical finds some one with a bad guy vibe they need to be killled (since the odds ar in the favor of them being an actual bad guy...) thus if the witch doesn't act soon, they may not get to act at all.

Again, there is no reason to rush the witch. There is NOTHING to show that Cyg had a power role of ANY kind. The way you are wording it, you want the witch to rez Cyg. You have yet to say that the witch should 'act during the first couple of nights', which I would lean more towards.
Seems to me that you are pushing for the power role to use their power role too early...perhaps to your benefit.

First off, I'm asking people to consider things, and talk about things (2 pages by mid day?! travisty!) because the more content avilable the more likly the imposters will slip up and make that fatal mistake.
Second off, we have a person who can look into roles...(use the roles we actully have for goodness sake!) and even if the witch were as dense as you, even if cgy has no role, at least he'd be an unreporachable, undenyable townie. And at the very least the time it'd take for the dragons/undead to remove him from this mortal coil would be that much more time for the town to root out this bane.
And you're right, they probably didn't use sclience on day one, but I was making a point that calling people out with votes (as LE is wont to do) is not safe in these troubled times.

Sorry, I was preoccupied with other stuff over the last day or so, but I've read over the posts(kind of) and I'm at my usual stage of "Don't know what the hell is going on" since it's just Day 1.
So I'm going to bandwagon as soon as I see a vote worth bandwagoning. Liq isn't worth bandwagoning on just yet. He talks a lot, and gets things stirred up, though if he's scum, that's not necessarily the best thing for the town.

Not 100% sure what to make of W_M's idea of the witch doing her thing now. Just writing out pros and cons:
Pro: -Confirmed townies are useful people to have around. -If a power role gets NK-ed, we won't know it (barring the ex-hero/oracle duo or possibly the priest), so if she waits it's far from certain that she will get to raise a power role. -We remove the risk of the Witch getting NK-ed or investigated before she does her thing.
Con -Chance of reviving a power role is low. Cygnus is likely to be just a townie. -Feels somehow premature.
Anyone got more, feel free to add them.
PS: NacRuno - Could you explain exactly what the Priest does? I'm confused.
