Sorry SiTro, I think two days is a bit much to miss in a game this small. 9 people means that this will be quick, so you won't be waiting for long.
Final rules:
5 townies, 1 Enforcer, 1 Mayor, 2 Cultists.
Full reveal for lynches, Cultist-only reveal for NKs.
Enforcer is a standard townie-aligned cop. They PM me a name, I tell them that person's role.
Mayor is as follows:
- Townie aligned.
- Knows who the Enforcer is.
- If NK-ed, the Cultists get the Enforcer's name from him before he dies.
- If lynched, I publish the name of the Enforcer the following morning.
- Casting vote in case of ties. In the event of a tie, I will say whether or not the Mayor's casting vote came into play.
Voting: Votes should be in bold, and on a line to themselves. If you wish to unvote, please do so explicitly and include the name of the person that you were previously voting for. So:
Unvote: Scumbag
Vote: Cop
2 RL days/game day, 1 RL day/game night. Accidental night-posts should be editted out ASAP. Night posts that aren't edited away within a reasonable amount of time will result in a mod kill.
Editing: No editing please. Not even to fix that horribly annoying typo that snuck into you essay on why the town is screwed.
Endgame situations: If, at any point, there are equal numbers of cultists and townies left alive, the cult wins. This is intended to prevent awkward situations like 1 townie and 1 cultist being alive and the game being reduced to quickdraw.
UPDATE, based on a query by PM: Totally disregard the above. I will end the game early in 1v1 situations, but not 2v2 situations.
Lynches: Most votes gets lynched, in case of a tie, Mayor's vote is casting. If the Mayor is dead/voting for someone else, whoever reached the number of votes first will die.
Role PMs: No direct quoting of my role PMs, please.
General: Be nice, everyone. We aren't in the SPF any more, but that's not an excuse to behave badly. If things get out of hand I do reserve the right to start modkilling people, plus Water_moon might have something to say.
Anything I've forgotten, please let me know. Use the PM box on this forum to contact me.
Silence, please - Night one has begun and will last 24 hours. I will be sending out roles shortly.
EDIT: Clarified tie-breaking rule.
EDIT 2: Endgame clarification. Well spotted.
