Anyone else buy shareware games? I've bought quite a few over the years. They are usually worth the money, too. The only problem I have with them is if the codes expire (which is a real problem when I get a new computer or have to re-install my system software) or quit working with newer versions of the game. Some of my favorites are: Escape Velocity Override Nethergate Blades of Avernum Ricochet Lost Worlds The Goalkeeper Golden Logres (Pinball) Monster Fair (Pinball) Ultimate Pool Ocean Express Lux Delux Rainbow Web Mystery Case Files: Huntsville Bounce Out QBeez 2 Magic Stones Evolutionary War Many of these are sold by their creators, but gamehouse.com is a good source (and often offer discounts for purchasing more than one game) for both Mac and Windows versions of some of them. I still love and old logic puzzle game called Sherlock. It was in DOS, but my hubby found a version for XP, well, sort of, it still opens a DOS shell....
Bounce out is a favorite of mine to play OL, I even found a site that keeps your high scores and has daily high scores. They host a game called Text Twist that we often play together (I have spelling and typing issues.)

Yeah, Text Twist is fun. I like word games and have quite a few on my Mac, most of them shareware (or freeware):
Bookworm X-Words Text Twist Flip Words Find a Word Hangman Spell-O-Gram WHATword Scrabble Letter Connector Word Wits Acropolis Boggle Word Tracer
and I know there are a lot more out there! Jude
