1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup milk 1 cup brown sugar Melt butter and add milk and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. Continue to simmer for two to three minutes stirring constantly to keep from scorching. Place in fridge to cool completely. It should have the consitancy of caramel. 2 cups powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla Add chilled mixture to mixing bowl and add powdered sugar. Beat until creamy. Add the vanilla. Spread onto cake, cinnamon rolls, donut, finger, significant other... and enjoy!
