This is one my mom sent me as being realativly low in fat, sodium and calories.
3 cups fruit 1/2 c quick or rolled oats 1/2 c flour 1/2 c brown sugar 1 tea spices (I use a baking mix which has cinnamon, cardamon and nutmeg) 1/2 stick soft spread
In a 8x8 or 9x9 pan place the 3 cups washed fruit on the bottom. I prefer to use fresh fruit, but you can used canned, so long as you drain off any syrup.
In a medium bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Cut the soft spread into it. Sprinkle evenly over the fruit. The topping should be crumbly, but if it still seems very dry, you can lightly spray the top with cooking spray.
Bake for 40 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Let pan cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving. If you're feeling really indulgent, you can top with vanilla ice cream.
