Soy: How do you suggest to see what jumps off a person's brain unprompted if said person happens to be a mafia player trying to slide under the radar? They're not going to say anything if they can get away with it. Gorny: You could also be the mafia and lynching you would be good. Or is that a role claim with only two votes on you? Unvote: GornyFor now. And they will do the same thing when answering direct meaningless questions so what is your point?

You might see them as meaningless but I still find how you answer them of interest. Same for anyone who answers my questions.
If I didn't find the approach useful, what would be the point in asking more questions?
You still don't answer the question I actually posed in that post.

If a mafia is going to fib, waffle, or evade on a good question he is certainly not going to sink any ships answering the lesser questions. You may find it useful to ask or read the answers to meaningless questions. I may find it useful to read some of the responses, but it is not in my style to ask inane or rhetorical questions.

No. I meant the question you quoted in your previous post.
"Soy: How do you suggest to see what jumps off a person's brain unprompted if said person happens to be a mafia player trying to slide under the radar?"

No. I meant the question you quoted in your previous post. "Soy: How do you suggest to see what jumps off a person's brain unprompted if said person happens to be a mafia player trying to slide under the radar?" Ok I thought I had answered that. I don't happen to think it occurs in response to meaningless questions with fudged responses. I think it occurs from good questions with fudged responses -JK. In the same way you analyze your answers, I analze all of the jumping off from the brains of the truthful townies and the evasive mafiosa and winnow out the suspicious from the non suspicious. Sorry - if that answer doesn't suit you- I am trying to explain the workings of this feminine brain to a man. I base my opinions of players more on relationships and interactions. I had a really good answer before that I sent which never landed.

@ray: what other reason is there for liq to target you other than your 'confession'? Who do you think we should lynch? sint: that is your second time directly complimenting another opinion, you know we left the popularity contest behind right? what other reason is there for your vote on goltar other than his vote for liq? @soy: i get lost in your posts and feel like all you do is confusion. there seems to be so few said behind too much words you typed. can you tell who are your top three suspects and why?

@soy: i get lost in your posts and feel like all you do is confusion. there seems to be so few said behind too much words you typed. can you tell who are your top three suspects and why? sorry if I baffled you, sometimes I baffle myself. My top 3: Gorny - he has the ability to hide and underpost. Some of how I feel is just me and from past games. Sorry Gorny. Ludacris - in early days I believe in lynching non posters on the basis that if they had a power role they would be in it more and also keeping them if they continue to not post is not helpful to anyone. Goltar - because I think it is possible to swing votes his way to get a lynch for the day. I tend to think he is too vocal and uncautious to be mafia - so I could substitute him for a more stealthy candidate. I do believe we as the town needs to have a lynch everyday and traditionally we will make a few mistakes until the picture becomes clearer.

Nac if you find me confusing consider that I have been asked basically the same question 3 times and I am trying to give an answer that satisfies.

I'm confused. When Goltar acts like he wants to be lynched everyone says back off because he might be the VI. As far as I recall, only you and Gorny pointed at people with the VI stick. Others just commented on how both of you sounded like you wanted to lynch a VI. Ask yourself if this is in goltar's character to get overly dramatic when he gets pushed up against a wall. People exhibiting this behavior are almost always mafia that are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to save themselves. "Quit picking on me or else!" Everyone has seen this before, and he should be getting more flack for it than he is currently. Actually, I think it's very much in Goltar's character. I found his first post much more interesting. I'm going to Vote: GornyThere's that VI confusion. I have this thing against people bringing up hypothetical VI's. It leads to people questioning whether they should lynch obvious mafiosi, which usually hurts the town. Also, while I'm not really familiar with him, I had the impression that he's an experienced player. I had expected him to know better than to make a day 1 half-claim with so little pressure on him. At the very least, it'll eliminate an unknown for me.

Back.
Vote Soylentred
Why?
I think that she is up to no good. She seems to be completely all over the place, and a lot of her posts cast suspicion around for no terribly good reason. I'm finding it hard to work out what she is saying at any given time, and her opinions seem to change with every post.

unvote: Ray vote: goltar
Since it doesn't look like I'll get my first choice, I'll settle for my 2nd.

Vote: Goltar
I wonder if Liq will still think I'm part of a mafia team with Goltar after I vote for him...

I wonder if Liq will still think I'm part of a mafia team with Goltar after I vote for him... Not completely, because I'm not mafia. That'll just implicate you further as bandwagoning at this point. He'll still think you're mafia though. Still, with a tie at this point, I'm not out yet. But if I am lynched, good luck to the town, you'll need it.

@ray: you shouldn't play based on what liq might be thinking about you. you seem to choose goltar as the sacrificial sheep to get the heat off you. after muzz's comment i am more convinced that it is too early to pull the trigger on goltar. and although i think alike with naz and would rather see soy get lynched today, it has come to a gorny vs. goltar. gorny: are you sticking to your defensive vote on sint? it is hard for a newcomer to adjust himself but you should at least give it a try. vote: gorny
