You and I have made it public from the start that we go to bed several hours before the day ends (as I will be doing shortly after this post). Jrla has not voted, and W_M could easily come back and switch her vote after ours are locked in (her post time last night - reply 100 - is later than I stay up and later than you've ever posted), and I fully expect W_M to change her vote to secure a lynch on someone towards the end of the day if at all possible.
Switching her vote to me right after you voted for me would be entirely too obvious of a bandwagon and I wouldn't be surprised if you'd have switched to her immediately after she did so, as I believe jrla would have. It's much safer to wait until we're asleep to do her killing, even if the sun isn't yet down.

Sure, switching her vote to you after I've voted would be too obvious a bandwagon. But she could have voted for you first thing today had she wanted to. Given the suspect lists thrown about, there wasn't any serious chance of either jrla or me getting lynched.
I have also never said that my day ends "several hours before" game day ends. Game day ends at 1 AM Pacific time. I usually sleep around an hour before, if that. In any case, you are clutching at straws. That snipe vote theory is ridiculous.

I don't know that I want to "risk" better odds at this point. I know that if the townies win, they all win, but as a member of the townies, I want to win! ;D
All ego aside, right now, there are 2 no-lynches, and 2 non-votes. Colorlessgreen hasn't voted, and W_M and Cygnus have voted no-lynch. Why don't we (W_M, cygnus and myself) vote for colorlessgreen tonight, and get it over with!
Going against what the people have spoken:
VOTE: colorlessgreen

Ok. Sorted now.
I've been mulling over whether or not to count Cygnus's vote - he didn't unvote. I've decided I'm going to, on the basis that being pedantic isn't fun. Therefore, the votes look like this:
Water_Moon: 1 (ColourlessGreen) No Lynch: 1 (Water_Moon) ColourlessGreen: 2 (Cygnus, jrlafrance)
ColourlessGreen has been lynched. He was the remaining cultist. The town wins.
Full role details:
jrlafrance - Mayor Serdash - Enforcer Colourless Green - Cultist #1 Friedbananazzzz - Cultist #2 Noodle - Townie Water_Moon - Townie Cygnus - Townie Muzzzz - Townie Liquid_Evil - Townie
That was very interesting to watch. I think Colourless_Green came off a little badly from me - he (pretty reasonably) misunderstood my ruling about 1v1 situations where the Mayor and a Cultist are alive - he thought he'd win that one. There was also the ruling above about Cygnus's unvote - I spend quite a lot of time mulling about it.

GG everybody, that was fun. I'm quite shocked I lasted as long as I did. I personally would have lynched me right after that fbz stuff.
I'm rather annoyed that the hangover resulting from my eleven hours at the bar on saturday caused me to think the day was ending on sunday, which is why I voted as early as I did (it was right before I was going to bed). I think I would have had a stronger chance of talking someone into lynching somebody (besides me) without cygnus' analysis of the last day voting trends (though my vote sniping comment was actually accurate - given the ability to do so, I definitely would have taken advantage of that).
Anyways, as I said, that was fun. When's the next?

edit: also, thanks Naz for allowing that unvote to go through. I'd planned to PM you when I got home from work and tell you that if you were thinking of letting the game continue over it, not to. Even if I'd somehow worked a win out of that technicality, that's not the win I was looking for.

Even if I'd somehow worked a win out of that technicality, that's not the win I was looking for. Just out of curiosity, if there had been a no-lynch, who would you have murdered this night? I'm guessing it would have been W_M. It was fun, I'm a little surprised that Liq got lynched so early, but he difinitely was talkative! Did anyone have me pegged as the Mayor? I thought I put out several "hints" as to who I was, but it didn't seem like anyone picked up on them.

Cygnus, followed by a lot of whining about W_M trying to frame me, possibly referencing the fact that someone had pointed out that they didn't think she was actually doing that as a good reason for her to start, even if she hadn't been.
I'd thought you were the mayor up until very recently, but the problem was that I was reading some things serdash said as meaning that he'd investigated W_M and found her townie, or at least thought it plausible that the mayor would have read them that way. Cygnus did a rather quick about-face with regards to w_m being suspicious, which I thought had occurred when he went back and re-read dashy's posts more carefully (possibly as a result of him getting pwned and realizing he wouldn't get to have the benefit of a daylight reveal).
I doubt I would have changed my mind had we lynched W_M, so the town probably would have won that way as well, thanks to that rule change.

edit: oh, liq. He got pwned because (a) I thought there was a slight (~10%) chance that he was playing wine-in-front-of-me, wine-in-front-of-you with his claiming power role, and (b) because I was trying to cover up fbz's wonderfully brilliant strategic move (and that worked, at least for a bit. Thanks, noodle, for coming out of the gate at me so quick. I really thought I'd be dead that round and the town would win without missing a lynch.) On that topic, fbz never even showed up night one, so that was his only contribution to the game. If I'd've pulled it off, I was planning on claiming the best mafia evar title for singlehandedly taking down the entire town.

Yes, CG, wonderful game played. I was a poor mafia player this round Got home about 2 hours after night 1 finished, so I made no contribution to the scum activities... I figured there was no chance of anybody coming to the thread and considering a change of vote, so I thought of the stupid little scheme of voting alongside CG figuring that once I was revealed, no one could possibly think a mafia player could make such a move, and a frame-up would be the only explanation... pretty dumb, especially since I couldn't run it by him first, but he seemed to make the best of it. I think I've taken over for Muzzz for most mafia roles now... is there a count? (I doubt anyone cares though...) Also: A THOUSAND PLAGUES UPON YOU LIQUID EVIL!!! For once again getting me lynched... edit: Oh, and thanks Naz for hosting! Who's next?

Oh, fried, you know you love me. C'mere and give big ol' papa bear a hug. @ CG- You didn't believe I was more than only 10% likely to be the cop? Even after all that apparent mafiaesqueness that was just seeping out of your posts? C'mon. We both know it had to be at least 15%. Jason is scheduled next to host, but it has been 3-4 days since I PM'ed him with no response. So...I believe NacRuno is ready in the wings with a game all lined out. I'll shoot him a PM to get it rollin' down the pipe. @ Cygy & the rest of the town- Nicely played at the end. @ Naz- Thanks for hosting! Just for curiosity's sake though, who were Dashy's investigation targets? (With the cop never coming forward, I was believing that it was a lucky strike with muzzz)

;D I knew by the end that it was CG, so I started celebrating as soon as I saw jrlafrance's vote last night, not even waiting for naz' confirmation. Thanks for letting the vote go through, naz. The rules didn't say anything at all about no lynches either and I was a bit worried you'd disregard those votes saying there wasn't a Mr. No Lynch in the game. It was too late in the day to ask for a rule clarification. @jrla: great job staying alive till the end. I missed your role completely. It wasn't until very late that I read the tie break rule and realised the mayor should not role reveal. @cg: 11 hours at the bar Bartenders don't stay that long ... Why were you expecting to be lynched right after fbz? I pegged dash as a townie power role the day before he was killed and pretty much asked him to reveal his role, but he didn't. Dash, why? If we had lynched w_m and lost the game because of that, it would have been your fault.

@ jrla- What were the hints? I'll wait till the proper authorities have done their investigations... If you're just creating trouble, perhaps a pardon is in order? ...I've not done anything wrong, I've not raised taxes, or cheated with my staff! I am not a crook! ...OK, now that we've remembered LE, on to the business at hand... I have been shamed! Who need the pardon now? ;D I'm familiar with speeches that contain lots of content, but don't really say much! Going against what the people have spoken: VOTE: colorlessgreen The hints were small, but read in time with the entire chat, I think it's pretty obvious there were several polotician referecnes in there.
