Please don't waffle soy, it doesn't become you. Anyway, my vote today is going to be on you. 1. You make mention of your role PM. Why?? Where is the pressure for you to role claim at this point. You have no votes on you, and very little activity at this time. That is strike 1. 2. Your first vote of the day is for Naz, for no reason. Then you say you can be switched to Noodle. Now you say you can switch to me. All with no reasoning behind them. That is strike 2. 3. Your day one drivel was not about finding mafia, but rather speculating about role blocking/ block switching and townie/mafia ratio. If we are in a dire situation, then withholding your suspect list does nothing for the town. Strike 3. 1. I did not role claim. I said I was town and if other town is acting on my same information I have a good feeling who I can trust. I DID NOT ROLE CLAIM. 2. I have said the 3 I am not trusting are Naz, Noodle and you - obviously I am not too much invested in either one as long as it is one of them. I am not waffling - I am sticking pretty well to those 3. 3. Reread what I said - I said it myself - this is not a useful debate. I said myself knowing whether it was blocked or switched or doctor save gives us no information because we hadn't had any deaths at that point. So why was my discussion of what everyone was discussing drivel and not everyone elses? I said with no deaths yet the info was not useful. Please don't attribute falisities to me and then call me out on them.

Why would you believe you would be NK'd? My problem with you soy, is not the information you say is in your PM, but rather you bringing it up in the first place. I believe that you were trying to role claim, have been called out on it, and now are trying to dance your way out of it. Tell me Nole - when I say I got information in my PM and I believe a core of town got the same information - how could that ever be construed as a role claim - it is in fact the dead opposite. Are you saying I am saying for example hey I was told I am the doctor in my PM and I believe 3 or 4 other townies got the same message - RIDICULOUS and you know it. or hey I was told I was the cop and I believe 3 or 4 others got the same message? You are either not thinking or wilfully misrepresenting what I said.

Now I do believe the answer to whether there was no NK or whether it was blocked does not give us any useful information being that we know with no kills that we still have a role blocker AND a switcher in the game. We know IF we were given a doctor he is still in the game also. Also if anyone feels there is a something useful about this information please enlighten me. We have debated it a bit, people seem to want to know but is the information useful? My initial question for anyone to hazard a guess was mostly conversational. Nole is this my drivel that you are referring to - the drivel where I say this debate is not useful?

Look, a bad lynch today and the game is over.
I am the Jailkeeper.
I saved Jason on night one. There was no NK that night.
Before anyone even brings up the possibility of the mafia switching my target: The mafia would not switch the target to someone they are trying to NK. That theory is out the window.
Night 2, I targeted sint. Nothing of consequence.
The role is not very useful in stopping the mafia if they are targetted, as it only has a percentage chance of working depending on how many are alive.
I am putting all my eggs in soy's lynch basket today and following my lynch order.
The Vigalante is still out there so we have a real good shot at taking the mafia down tonight.

Nole - trust me - you can take this to the bank - if you lynch me today that is your bad lynch and end of game.

I'm just catching up on reading right now. Soylent, you seem to be pretty wild with your accusations. You claim to be vanilla townie, yet throw out condemnations as if you had an investigative role. How do you reconcile these bipolar antics?

How do you reconcile these bipolar antics? Well catch up some more on your reading then because I have explained it a few times now since this day began. I consider the use of terms such as bipolar and antics as ad hominem. Which means attaching spurious terms to me as a person of a negative type does not prove your case.

[quote author=soylentred board=general thread=78 post=3882 time=1237295621 Hmmmm we are not allowed to post what we received in our initial role PM so I don't know how much I can say here. I am thinking there is a core group of townies who may have the same information I do and I hope I have interpreted it correctly. What I am seeing is a very simplistic answer but it is all I have to go on right now. [/quote]
Answer me this soy....What information could you have being a "plain townie" that needs to be interpreted?
You are thinking there is a core group of townies??? Duh. This is the type of information you have given us all game. While it takes a lot of pixels...it says nothing.
When asked about your suspects, you would not reveal. It is a "personal" list. Huh, what? Heck, everyone is a suspect in my eyes, because I do not know everyone's alignment.
If you are truly pro town, your evasivness (sp) has cast a shadow upon you.

Now, now, you should never use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

I mean a smaller core of the 6 who may have received an extra message. I may have read into my message too much but as I said so far it is all I have to go on.

And, for the record, I didn't post over the weekend because I was busy with real life, namely my son's little league team. And, so no one is surprised, this Sunday I'll be travelling to Sand Diego, where I'll be attending a conference until Tuesday. I expect to be able to access the net in the evenings, but not much during the day.

And, yes, I realize I misspelled "San Diego."
