I'm delaying start by 13 hours in the hopes of getting more sign ups/ deffinative on skiff. The minimum for this to work well is 12 and I only have 11 confirmed. But we will start regaurdless at that time.
edit: Days are 47 hours with 1 hour "nights" so keep in mind that means we start in 12 1/2 hours.

Sir Poops has left us for greener pastures and we wish him well but the re-enactment season begins soon and he had the lion's share of male leads. You are all so good I simply can't chose between you and we all know that we are more like a family than an acting troup so I ask you all to talk amongest yourselves to determine who is best suited to play lead.
Skiff has plead duty to acedemic pursuits so I've cast him as understudy, should one of you take ill he shall stand in. I don't know if skiff can play or not but if some one doesn't post for a "day" and he can, i'll ask him to step in.
Now gentalmen, I know you are all quite mature and thus need no reminders but when we close for the evening and the day's vote is finalized, there's no loitering, I should not like to have to ask one of you to leave night is one hour long for goodness sakes, please don't post, if you do edit it out, those who have night active roles can send PMs to me before the end of the "day" or the first half of the "night" and I'm sure you all know the common rules of courtesy, no nastiness, re-read BEFORE you post. words like ravens are lost to recall once released. No edits except for night posts. If you make a boo-boo or the board goofs, PM me right away.
Votes should be bolded, and if you think some one is particularly suited to the role, i.e. they're your final choice, bold and italicize their name when you say their your final choice.
As always have fun, play nice, and GL.

Wow, that's all we get? Like what exactly are we supposed to do? Maybe my B.F.F Liquid can give me the 411?

Well obiovusly if everyone can agree on one of you for the role now, then it's a done deal. Otherwise, the easiest way would be to decide who simply wouldn't work in the roles.

Wow, that's all we get? Like what exactly are we supposed to do? Maybe my B.F.F Liquid can give me the 411? Why certainly my TLT* * “Tasty little tiger” ofc The basic premise as I understand it: We are a theater company and are trying to determine who is the best for the “lead role.” The person chosen as the lead role (and their teammates) are basically the winners. Since no one is going to vote for someone besides themselves to get it straight away, they have to start whittling away at the roster of other candidates (voting someone off). So it’s about appearing helpful and trying to get yourself or your teammates into that top spot. The catch is that since most of the group is in the dark as to their teammates’ identities, one can never be too certain if they’re voting off a friend or their competition. Something else to note is that the teams are uneven so supposed hint-dropping can be counterproductive if another team has more members than yours does. So what should we do? Today should consist of some questions being tossed around, some (apparent) friendly banter between participants, and one somewhat course exchange between two people that think they should be voted in as the lead role straight away. From there, the town will then vote neither of them as the lead role and instead remove Nolecub from play at day end. So, Nazdakka, who shouldn't be around by day end based solely on your gut?

I am in too I was not here few days so I missed this thread sorry for delay W_M I'm sorry, but I can't just add you in, everyone would know you didn't have a special roll (or that I made one up just for you) for one thing. But I will be glad to put you on a back up list if some one drops out. You would take over their roll in that case so it would still be a guess.

Ok, this is definitely going to take a different approach from the usual. We're basically three different town groups, with very little clue as to how many in each group. What we do know is that there are 6 unevenly distributed power roles. 3 in the 60's team, 2 in the 2000's team, and 1 in the 80's team. Now this is somewhat balanced by the fact that the 80's role is the snoop, which is (in my opinion at least) the most powerful of the roles. There are however three anti-snoop roles, two in the 60's team and one in the 2000's team, so that power is somewhat countered. In addition, the guru has a fairly powerful role. Overall, it seems like the 60's team has the advantage in terms of roles. Now, we don't know how many people are on each team. My best guess is that the 2000's team will have the most, because their roles are the least active and usable. One passive and one that is effectively an altered village idiot. I would say the 80's team is next, as they have the snoop, and thus the 60's team would be the smallest. Another point to consider, there are 12 players. An even distribution would have 4 per team. If we account for all of the power roles, we have: 2000's: 2 80's: 1 60's: 3 leaving 6 players to be distributed among the teams. If we assume at least 1 non role per team (not a given, but a reasonable assumption in my mind), then we get: 2000's: 3 80's: 2 60's: 4 This leaves 3 players unaccounted. Now, since the 60's are the most powerful group (in my mind), there's not a lot of reason to add to their numbers at this point. Those 3 could go in any combination to the other two groups, but it's probably safe to say that the 80's group will get at least one more players, so that narrows the possibilites down a bit. I'm tending to lean towards one of the first two, as the 2000's team would be hurt too much having just 1 non role. Of course, all of this is just speculation. If anyone has some better ideas, feel free to put them forth. Another related point, what's the state of role/alignment reveals for this game?
