I'm a little out of practice, but a round of Werewolf (same game, different theme) over the weekend whetted my appetite. If it's not too late, please sign me up!

I'll join too. Wouldn't enjoy the kid/gossip much, but I'll trust in probability not getting them. Just a question though, can the Clairvoyant(s) investigate before they have established their ability?

"Few days" and counting. I need a date, it's in the rules. If you pass on this one you will go to the end of the host list.

Oh water_moon, I'm a stickler for the rules, and if it's in the rules, well, I'd be glad to be your date, but seriously, wouldn't goltar mind? With his networking skills, he might just outirght ban me from the 'net, and honestly, that is a large prize to pay...
Vote:goltar for neglecting wm so much that she is saying she needs a date on her own forum...

Theoretically, it's possible, but lawyers get involved, and they've got enough to deal with already. To completely ban someone from the internet is more difficult than you think unless you start involving the real world.

that is a large prize to pay... you mean price? or did you win the lottery and need to pay taxes? But you know I don't mean that kind of date Lacking info from Jason and since I know he needs us to send what roles we'd like, I am saying we need finalization on the role options and a start date on this round by this time Sun. otherwise the next person is up.

I believe it's still Sunday your time, although it's Monday morning my time. My apologies again, got sick twice would you believe (and no, that's not a Maxwell Smart "would you believe"). If I'm still on, I can get all the roles up later today. Because I'll need PMs from participants before we start, I'll need to leave at least a couple of days after the roles go up, so I I'm going to set a tentative start time of Thursday 12:30 am AEST (GMT +10). As a reference, the time I posted this message was 9:17 am Monday my time. I can move the start time +/- 24 hours depending on how quickly or slowly I get the PMs in after I post the roles and rules. Anyone who hasn't indicated their preference by Friday 12:30 am will be assigned whatever role is left, randomly if there's more than one.

It was about 2 hours late but luckly for you I've been sick too. Just in case others have been, and due tthe holidays, I might reccomend PMing people when the roles are avilable to chose from.

Just letting you know I'm currently typing up the role list. I will take water_moon's suggestion and PM all participants once the list is up. The scheduled start time will now be 12:30 am AEST on Friday 16/1.
Update: The full role list is up. I will send out reminder PMs sometime tomorrow. In the meantime feel free to start sending me your preference lists. Remember, 5 preferences in order, including at least one townie role, one bad guy role, and one neutral role. If you really want to be good, bad, or neutral, put your two compulsory other preferences at 4 and 5.
Roles will be allocated such that everyone gets their highest possible preference and each role is allocated. I may have to ask for volunteers if there's a role that no-one wants, but hopefully it will work without needing to resort to that.
For now, I need sleep.

Jason - may I ask about the town gossip role. You say you will alter one piece of information as an example the name or the role - will it always be the name or the role or do you mean you may also change another piece of information in the message. If you always change the name or the role - then saying for example I am the godfather means I am not. This assumes the gossip has true information and not just idle speculation. I guess I am asking if other information such as just clues may be imparted correctly thru the gossip's message. If I say soylent is the godfather and is wearing a green dress - might you change that to a blue dress and leave the rest of the message intact? Also will the role of anyone poisoned by the assassin ever be revealed?

Jason: That weird person no one talks to... How do you plan to implement that? it basically means no daytime interaction here, but that would make one stand out like a sore thumb. If it doesn't, it's really hard to properly play this role, since whatever you say will, for better or worse, be tinged with knowledge about the knowledge you posess.
Also, as per Hollywood Filmscript, in lots of movies nosey kids team up with weird guys that no one talks to, in order to save the day. (Think for example Back to the Future, the Goonies). Perhaps, if they manage to find each other (meaning, if the nosey kid manages to investigate the weird dude), some sort of interaction could spring up there?

Just saying that I won't be around much the next couple of days.
EDIT: I see you added a few more roles.. beginning to look more and more complicated.
