Well ric, at least you TRIED to be smooth, but I think I have found my first conspirator. I was going to point out yesterday the lack of logic of your vote. I decided to wait to see how long it would take before you switched it over to a No vote. So who are you working with? Maybe if you cooperate, Friend Computer will only give you a half lobotomy. Well, if people vote YES and they are right, I can at least say you voted like that because of me. Now if people vote YES and they are wrong, I can say I voted NO but was unable to convince those doorknobs. Here I am weaseling myself out of it! (btw the end of this game deserves an '80 movie end, telling what happened to everyone afterwards!)

vote: no
there are people who try to make it seem like there is a conspiracy but my final decision is that there is not.

I edited a post at the start of the game. My edit was to bold my vote. I was told by the host to go back & edit it and delete my other post. So I did. I have no clue why my post of 2 days ago says it was edited because I did not edit THAT post. Water Moon says LAST WARNING. So from my point of view I followed the instructions of the host, edited my post, then made a subsequent post and for some strange reason it says posted 8:49 and edited 8:50. I never edited anything. I wrote my post and clicked "submit". Last warning? ? For doing nothing wrong.

Calm down, firehorse. Nobody's trying to attack you here. Up until now, we've had no reason to assume that the edit marks could be incorrect. So I don't think you can really blame us for any assumptions regarding that. Water_moon is just trying to make very sure you know the rules.
You should probably send water_moon a PM and see if the two of you can figure out why the forum is incorrectly saying your post was edited.

As for the game, the current going-ons fit my "there is a conspiracy" projections. That doesn't say much, because I didn't bother to do many "there is no conspiracy" projections. But I'll stick to my vote anyway.

Just in case:
vote:YES
Along with the dog and pony show put on by ricrestoni, Nac as sealed the deal for me. Isn't he always against the majority in these games?

Do we have an official tally yet - I voted yes a long time ago and see no reason to change off of that.

Greetings citizens. Friend Computer notes that you believe that you have uncovered a conspiracy among those in your ranks. However, examination of records shows that while some amongst you are Commie Mutant Traitors, there is no common organization in the group.
Goltar, Nolecub, Muzzzz, Soylentred, BobTheWarrior, Ray Patean, and Jason have all failed Friend Computer, and so committed treason, through their mistaken accusations. All of these will be terminated, and their replacement clones will be permanently assigned to biohazard cleanup duty in sewage disposal area 47.
Nac Runo, Firehorse, Water_Moon and Ricrestoni all correctly performed the task alloted by Friend Computer. Friend Computer is very happy at this, and these individuals will be granted the promised week on Recreation Level 5, raised to security clearance green, and then granted the honour of replacing the troubleshooters who were terminally inconvenienced by the anomalous lifeform in sector 43.
There was no conspiracy. Nac Runo, firehorse, water_moon and ricrestoni have won a major victory by being the few people who correctly said that there was no conspiracy. Goltar, nolecub, Muzzzz, soylentred, bobthewarrior, Ray_Patean and Jason have lost.
Thoughts on the game? I used random.org to determine whether or not the conspiracy existed, and while watching the confusion was fun for me, I suspect the game would have played better if it did actually exist.

A fun game, even though it was a bit slow at times. I definitely wouldn't mind playing a similar game in the future, perhaps with some extra action on the sides (secret societies?) to keep things rolling.

@muzzzz: Agreed. It needs a little more action going on, and possibly something to drive discussion. Maybe an NK every night that's either random or conspiricy-chosen.

Hmmm, deaths that could be natural .... or not. That might add some spice.
Still, well done for a quickie. I'd like rec level 5 now please, much better than winds that tear down my fence and smush my roses when I have too much other stuff to do.
On an admin note: If you have an experience where the board is improperly displaying something or techincal difficulties let me know by PM as soon a you notice, that sort of thing needs to be forwarded on to ProBoards.

GG recreation 5 WOOT that would be cocktails, swimming pool and Diablo II! I agreed at a point to Nac and Nole, that if there was a conspiracy, they needed to do absolutely nothing to win. That is a premise we should study in future games like this - inaction shouldn't naturally take to victory IMHO. Thanks Nazz!

I agreed at a point to Nac and Nole, that if there was a conspiracy, they needed to do absolutely nothing to win. And therein lies the rub, becuase they have information but must not act in anyway to indicate they have said information. That's why cop roles can be so dangerous, you're just as likly to look like a bad guy if you seem to have higher knowledge.
