Greetings citizens. Friend Computer hopes you have had a pleasant day, and that you enjoy this evening. Friend Computer would also like to remind all citizens that explosions are rated at security clearance yellow. Any citizens who hear an explosion and whose security clearance is below yellow are guilty of treason and should report to termination suite 43 for processing.
The computer has also noted treasonous comments from those amongst you, citizens. The traitorous manouvre known as the 'three finger salute', the fate of the HAL program, and the concept of 'free pr0n' are reserved for Ultra-Violet clearance citizens, and citizen Nolecub has treasonously shared knowledge of all three. You all now know of concepts beyond your security clearance, and so you have all committed treason. Troubleshooter teams are on their way to eliminate all treasonous citizens without delay.
Tomorrow's investigation will continue with clones from the gene banks. Have a nice evening.
Day 1 is over. Night 2 has begun. If they exist, the conspiricy may talk amongst themselves.
Current votes: NO 3 ( Jason, firehorse, water_moon) YES 8 (goltar, nolecub, Muzzzz, soylentred, Nac Runo, bobthewarrior, Ray_Patean, ricrestoni)

Good morning, citizens. Friend Computer hopes you had a pleasant evening, and that your new clone bodies make you happy. If they do not, citizens should be reminded that unhappy citizens are far more likely to commit treasonous acts than happy citizens, and so you should report to an automated booth for immediate processing.
Night 2 is over, day 2 has begun. The day, and the game, will end at around midday forum time on Sunday. Note that this has changed, because I've mistimed this slightly and won't be around until then (my girlfriend's brother's wedding is on Saturday). Sorry about this, everyone. I will give a 2-hour warning before the day ends.

Well I guess this is my clone talking. Thank you nolecub (the real one, not the new clone). Has anyone seen any indication that a conspiracy exists? If it does, it must be nervous seeing all the yes votes. I find it interesting that at least 2 of the 3 no votes are definitely non-conspirators (w_m and myself). So if a conspiracy does exist, the majority of those involved are freely admitting it at this point with their yes votes.
So as things stand, if there is a conspiracy, and assuming all 4 are voting yes, this leaves 4 yes votes from non-conspirators and 3 no votes. Thus the conspiracy is defeated. If there is no conspiracy, well who cares?
Now I have a suggestion: If we were all to vote yes, then the conspiracy would of course be soundly defeated. However, if there were no conspiracy, we would all equally lose, and at least be able to depart together in harmony. I feel in the mood for a little Pascal's Wager. If I'm wrong, that only means that Friend Computer is free of Commie Mutant Traitors, a state much to be desired, and no doubt enjoyed by my future clones who will succeed my terminated traitorous self.
unvote: no
vote: yes

Who else has wiped out an entire game in one day?
Everyone is welcome for the spiffy, shiny, new epidermi.

Losing equally sounds like a communist thing to do. Are you a communist, Jason? I would not count on all of those that voted yes to keep their vote through the day. Early efforts would perhaps be better spent on demographic analysis. Please elaborate. Consider the sides in this program as groups, instead of individuals. How would the conspirators, as a group, try to convince the non-conspirators, as a group? I project that most conspirators will have voted yes. In most scenarios, that is the most likely way to make non-conspirators vote no.

Last night got me thinking, what are all possibilities? Either:
a. There is a conspiracy and:
1st- Conspiracy 2nd- Minority YES Last- Majority NO
or
1st- Majority YES 2nd- Minority NO Last- Conspiracy
or b. There is NOT a conspiracy and:
1st- Majority NO Last- Minority YES
or
1st- Minority NO Last- Majority YES
Now knowing that 1st place is some quality time in recreative center, and last place is termination by treason, let's consider all 4 possibilities:
If I vote YES, I get 1x victory, 1x second place or 2x last. If I vote NO, I get 2x victory, 1x second or 1x last.
Looking at it, NO sounds much more compelling. However:
If I vote with the MAJORITY, I get 2x victory or 2x last. If I vote with the MINORITY, I get 1x victory, 2x second or 1x last
But hey, we can thin it down a bit more.
If majority says YES and I vote YES, I get either win or last. If majority says YES and I say NO, I get either win or second.
If majority says NO and I say YES, I get either second or last. If majority says NO and I say NO, I get either win or last.
Now before we scramble further, let's ponder on the second place. What would it be? I could imagine it as a full month course on investigative techniques on, say, Xanadu Paradise Sector Z. I would welcome that, as my boss is driving me insane, making the whole Bureau of Study on Mirrorred Colors shave all hair daily, and infesting it with unbearable pine scent, all in name of good cleanliness.
(For those of you wondering, the BSMC studies the legal consequences of using a mirror while it reflects different level of security colors. Fundamental!)
On the other hand, second place could be - and I think this is far more probable - a brain tissue re-programming through robotical surgery, in order to input all data necessary to identify traitors. Of course, having this highly treasonous knowledge will result in instant termination as soon as it is done. That I would not welcome, as I don't want to have betraying thoughts, unless commanded so by the computer in person, authenticated with all pertinent agencies.
Oh my god, WWFCD?
At this point, Majority says YES. That means if I say YES, I win or lose, and if I say no, I win or get second. That is more appealing than a majority NO option.
So safe thing to do is keeping the YES vote for now, and see how this develops.

I already said why I voted no, I think the rest are just conspicy happy. The "why would he bother to set this up without something going on?!" kinda thing. Which brings me to a much better point of analysis: *takes sledge hammer to 4th wall* What would naz do? would he A: make a conspiracy game with no conspirators to watch us point fingers and dance around like mad little puppets while he's L his AO. B: make a game where a group has nothing to do but talk at each other when other people can't. C: randomly chose to or not. If you think NAZDAKA (not you, not LE, not me) is more likly to do A, vote no. If you think he's more likly to do B, vote yes. If C, flip a coin.

I don't know if my vote from yesterday still stands, but just in case it doesn't, I'm still content with it, so:
Vote: Yes

Yes I agree with Water Moon. The whole fact that there is a conspiracy seems too predictable to me. If I set this up I'd have choir boys and dancing girls running the place ergo no conspiracy. Just a bunch of happy employees. So I vote NO. But maybe Friend Computer anticipates that and to fool folks like me forms a conspiracy anyway. One could go around in circles with this. I stand by my decision. I see no problems here. Just a happy computer and lots of people going to work each day just happy to have a job. I love the computer. The computer knows all and sees all. All bow to the Computer!!!!
VOTE: NO ------- Again

unvote: YES
vote: NO
Majority yes, minority no, I win or get second - here I am hoping for Xanadu Paradise!
Also, hmm I don't think there's a conspiracy, or if there is, well, if people conspire in the middle of the forest and no one is watching, is there really a conspiracy?

Well ric, at least you TRIED to be smooth, but I think I have found my first conspirator. I was going to point out yesterday the lack of logic of your vote. I decided to wait to see how long it would take before you switched it over to a No vote. So who are you working with? Maybe if you cooperate, Friend Computer will only give you a half lobotomy. FIREHORSE, Um....it says right there in your post at 8:49 that you edited something. water_moon is just trying to help you out, because if you edit during the mafia games, you WILL get mod_killed.
