Actually that led me to believe Nolecub might be innocent, and LE was just trying to assure a lyunching for the night.

You are both correct. I wanted to disassociate myself with the voting records if at all possible (but I think I was stuck to that lynch train regardless) and also make it less obvious that I was trying to save Nole (which I thought would be obvious to anyone that did a reread because of how I began the day, "Why so many votes for nole already? We have all day to vote. Both Wasp and nole are suspicious and I can see why you'd vote them.") In reality, only Nole and myself had voted Wasp whereas 90% of the rest of the town was on Nole. Just trying a last bit of misdirection before day end. But a little is all it usually takes.
What I can't believe is how often this mafia team would seemingly pursue mafia targets. Sure it makes us look better, but each time we lose a member the town gets further and further ahead in regard to the majority. Losing Nole just wasn't an option so I risked it all in terms of suspicion on myself. A benefit to that is when all eyes are narrowed on a target, they can't help but get tunnel vision. Pretty soon, I was all the town saw which made it much easier for other mafiosos to remain hidden/post less. Though that's probably only a good tactic as long as the main shepherds are either dead or on your team.

Sint obviously did not take the opportunity you provided him to post less...

Well, I was thinking of Nac Runo (though he is generally somewhat reserved), but from what I remember of Sint in previous games, he did seem to post less often, still a ton of content, but seemingly less frequently. (But I'm not going to go do a post count to compare.)
So Jason, would you ever do hidden messages again?

In almost all of my prior mafia games i was playing to stay alive till the end. This game was a bit different with all the leaders being either on our side or dead. It is just amazing how people tend to follow when liq steps up in a confident manner; with him we were not just trying to hide among the crown but leading the town to their doom. In real life (meaning other mafia games) such a thing is very hard to accomplish, and almost impossible to do two times in a game imo (for the same player i mean). Maybe me thinking like that is the reason why this is my first win as a mafia . But both w_m and jason said how mafia Liq looked, think what would have happened if someone else was doing what Liq did and in addition to w_m and Jason; Liq , sint and goltar were also on the side of townies. That is the usual scenario i face being a mafia I admit i couldn't adjust myself to the new style and went after nolecub from the beginning till the end. This is because i almost always try to play as a townie during the day and go after the one most suspicious to me no matter what we discuss at night. I didn't go after nole because i knew he would bleed mafia when lynched, but because he posted like mafia from my point of view. I have no idea how different i will play as a townie when the time comes.

I always push my fellow mafiosos, but I always back off or not push had enough for them to survive. I can make em look bad, but I can also make someone else look worse ;D Anyway, I think I kept pretty cleanly away from the voting records

I might also point out that at the time your sig was written "good shepard" was an oxymoron. Shepards were genrally regaurded as theives and men of loose morals. I don't know Biblical history well enough to agree/disagree with that; I just know that the saying pertains to both shepherds of men, and to mobsters. Sometimes they just happen to be the same.

I don't know Biblical history well enough to agree/disagree with that Trust me. Or look at it ths way: Shepards didn't look after their families, they were too busy going out to care for animals. They were stangers to everyone (a big no no in that world). And even this day an age shepards are often by themselves for weeks and months at a time, well let's just say that certian STDs occur naturally in sheep without harm to THEM.... Or read John 10, as Jesus talks about the "good shepherd" the crowds think he's crazy (v20), even his disciples don't get what he's talking about.(v6)

So Jason, would you ever do hidden messages again? You bet I would, if only to post jokes. I didn't go the trouble of figuring out the rgb values for the thread background colours for nothing.
