I'll have a double jack daniels please, and a silly straw to drink with if i can. Power rangers logo on straw is optional.

well I know silly straws were no no because kids would drink milk with them and then germs would grow when they couldn't get cleaned all the way but something tells me yours won't have that problem bob. *serves up a silly jd and some oatmeal butterscotch cookies*

I made a batch of those a few weeks back and they didn't last too long...one of my favorite cookies. My grandma used to fill up a coffee can with chocolate chip for my brother and I got one full of butterscotch. Now I'm living in their house making them.

I'll see if I can find it. They're basically just oatmeal cookies with a couple cups of butterscotch chips thrown in. I almost used white chocolate chips, but fond memories won out.

what a day. if I weren't nursing I'd have a stiff drink.
While doing laundry yesterday the sewer drains backed up and since liquid plumbe didn't help it last night, we're having to hire a plumber to come out.
I found my first grey hair this morning.
Elizabeth is about to cut her first tooth and when she's not chewing on my arm, her hand, or anything else she can get into her mouth she's crying, and sometimes she's crying even as she's chewing.

Well, if it's any consolation, I got my first white hair over 20 years ago, and my hair hasn't turned completely white, yet (about halfway, all streaked through it). Do you have anything, like Orajel for babies, that will help Elizabeth get through it? When I was a kid, they used to rub whisky on the gums, but... Jude

Yeah, we got some stuff called little teethers that's basically orajel/ambasol and that seems to help for a little while, but latly it's been bad enough that less than an hour later she's hurting again you're only suposed to use it 4 times a day or less.
We also have half a dozen fancy teethers and another half dozen not so fancy teethers, which she'll chew on for about 5 seconds before throwing it to the side and either a) scream, b) chew on hands/feet/any non teether in reach, or c) all of the above.
ps. how was the vaction erics?

We went to the beach in Oregon and it was nice. The kids loved it, too, and want to go back again next year. I'm ready for another vacation now

Have fun.
Hopefully you two will get some attention in between their googling over the newborn. ;-)
